HTML clipboard The life story of a full time student
I was born in November 1969. In the holy city of Mashhad, in an old district
adjacent to the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A.S), known as Sarshoor Bazaar where
the distinguished scholars including, paramount leader of the Islamic
Revolution-Ayatollah Khamenei-, Ayatollah Morvarid, Ayatollah Mirza Jawad
Tehrani and many other celebrities, dignities, thinkers and researchers whose
names are not in my mind now, grew up in this district.
Life was easier on those days, simple and lovely. People's life was less
luxurious, men of science and believer's life, in particular. My father - Hji Aqa - was a clergy man and spent his whole life on acquiring
religious sciences and propagating Islam. My mother - Gawhar Khanum (Lady
Gawhar) - was the best student of Haji Aqa. Gawhar Khanum was a kind and patient
wife.
She incredibly and unceasingly respected Haji Aqa.
She explained to us many words of Haji Aqa. Many things that we couldn't
understand, became comprehensible after her explanations.
I grew up older and older. I was always an honor student at school. Along with
studying and doing homework, I was busy with playing, having fun, working and
being engaged in the Holy Shrine. I went to pilgrimage 3 or 4 times a week. I
walked in the courtyards. Sometimes it became dark and I was not aware.Designs
and paintings on tiles, lofty balconies, dome, minarets, and the other premises
had lots of mysterious stories for me.I thought how it was possible that this much grandeur gathered in one place?
Really how could it be possible that all these grandeur gathered in a place on
the earth?
I became a high school student. I registered in Ayatollah-ul-Uzma Milani
seminary, because of Haji Aqa persistence.Although I was greatly interested in religious sciences, but it couldn't satisfy
me. Therefore I took some English classes and simultaneously I became a high
school student too.
My daily schedule after morning prayers was going to the seminary, and then
taking part in the English classes and after that attending high school.
Later on I went to Hojat-ul-Islam Val Muslimin Misbah seminary who was the
representative of Aiatollah-el-Uzma Khuei.
Observing a seminary student studying modern sciences, English language in
particular, was not popular on those days.Authorities of the seminary called me
several times, saying I should study either lessons of seminaries or English or
modern lessons. But I couldn't abandon my great desire for learning. It was
crystal clear that seminary would not loose its honor student. I felt relaxed
that I was not going to be expelled.
I participated in the entrance university exam in 1978 for the first time. I was
admitted to electronic major with the tendency of power (Electro Technique) and
I became a Ferdowsi University student. Before that I had gotten my high school
diploma in Mathematics and humanities fields.
An American University in Minnesota State,
Minneapolis city for studying sent me an invitation. Although I was interested
in going abroad but something happened to me that encouraged me to stay in Iran
and I continued my education at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.Reading textbooks
and many other books opened the gates of a new world of new understandings in
front of me.
Up to the present time just reading could have satisfied my mysterious sense of
knowing, understanding and learning. My life, on those days, joined with the
glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Ayatollah Khamenei,
Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi and Martyred Hashemi Nejad were the pioneers and ran
guards of a movement which I was a member of it then. I spent my days in
seminaries, demonstrations and in front of the preaching lectern of these
honorable people in some critical days I went to Tehran or Isfahan to take part
in the most important demonstrations. The time and date of the next
demonstration would have been enunciated at the end of each gathering.
I'm proud of those days. Standing in front of leaden bullets, not being scared,
relying upon God and trusting in Him, were the lessons which Haji Aqa taught me
very well.
The revolution worked out and my mind filled with memorials which would never be
forgotten. I was very young those days. Universities were closed with the
initiation of Cultural Revolution.
Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi had been appointed as the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi
with the command of Imam Khomeini - the Late Founder of the Islamic Revolution
-.
I eventually joined up him by passing lots of ups and downs and I requested him
to give me a job in this complex to be in close contact with him.
Among the offered positions, I chose the managing director of the Public
Relations of Astan Quds Razavi for the reason of having close contact with
pilgrims of Imam Reza (A.S) and also Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi. So I spent twenty
years of the best days of my life with the honor of being his student and
carrying out my activities under the management of a noble and kind master who
helped me to achieve many understandings in different grounds and also I carried
out activities at the most lovely place I could have ever imagined which still
remained.
After starting executive and management rends,
although having a pile of plans in my mind and believing that Astan Quds Razavi
as a public and spiritual foundation has to do them, I didn't abandon studying
and I became a student of Ayatollah Waiz Tabasi for studying treatises and two
volumes of Kefayah - the social equality of the spouses in marriage -.
It is too hard to summarize your whole life in several pages. How abject is the
twenty - year life on paper and in words. How could I write how much important
were those years to me.
How much I tried. I made very possible efforts. How could a person describe the
passing of his life.
And Iraqi Imposed War broke out. A great manifestation of self sacrifice of
youth appeared once again. All my concern was to use my position to promote the
aims of the Islamic System and help the combatant. Fortunately, under the
guidelines of the Grand custodian, Astan Quds Razavi renovated Huwayzah. So as
soon as I found a chance, I set out for those regions. How pleasurable is this
reliance and how lovely is that you entrust yourself to God.
It's 1986. I mean It was 1986 that I got married. My wife was the daughter of
the late Haji Morteza Tajrishi. He was one of the most famous challengers and
merchants of Tehran Bazaar after and before the Islamic revolution.
My wife, much the same as me, has a great desire to know, understand and read.
We studied together, we understood together and we learnt together both lessons
of university and lessons of life. She's a university professor now and although
I'm very busy these days but I teach some hours in a week.
As far as I can, and have time, I make my effort to
maintain my contact with university and seminary atmosphere and education and
teaching.
The story of my life now reaches to the point they connect me with executive and
scientific titles. Vice - custodianship of Astan Quds Razavi is my most
honorable title.
Even now whenever I enter the courtyard of Imam Reza (A.S) and I turn my head
around, when I drown in the embossed arabesque designs I ask myself how it's
possible to gather so much grandeur in one place? How come? And this is the
question for I'm digging in his Excellency's Life.
As mush as I study I become more interested and I'm
proud of being the full time student of the lord (Maola) of Shi'ite of the
world, Abal Hasan - Er - Reza.
Haji Aqa passed away in 1992 and Gawhar Khanum joined her 8 years later.
According to their desire, both of the dearest were buried in Imam Reza's Holy
Shrine.
Now my mind filled with the memorials of the childhood with a devoted wife and
children whom I loved them very much. My son sayyed Mahdi is a student of Imam
Sadiq University, Sayyedah Tahura, my elder daughter, is a student of Imam Reza
(A.S) University and my younger daughter Sayyedah Shakiba is studying at Imam
Reza (A.S) elementary school.
